Welcome to Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT) Equality and Human Rights home page. As a provider of mental health and learning disability services, we are aware of the problems and distress caused by stigma, perception and discrimination. We have a collective duty to tackle and promote more positive attitudes and behaviour.

Proud to support Leicester Pride 2nd September 2017

In partnership with the Leicestershire Equalities Forum (LSEF), LPT will be attending Leicester Pride 2017 to promote LPT as a provider of healthcare services and as an employer.
 

Accessible Information Standard

From 31 July 2016, all organisations that provide NHS care or adult social care are legally required to follow the Accessible Information Standard.

 

The standard aims to make sure that people who have a disability, impairment or sensory loss are provided with information that they can easily read or understand with support so they can communicate effectively with health and social care services.

LPT has started work to ensure that the Accessible Information Standard is implemented in all areas of its work.
