Who We Are and What We Do
Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT) provides a range of health and wellbeing services mainly for people living in the city of Leicester and the neighbouring counties of Leicestershire and Rutland. Our Trust serves a population of one million people, has a budget in excess of £250 million and employs almost 5,500 staff.
We provide care and support through three divisions which focus on
- Adult mental health and adult learning disability services
- Families, young people and children's services
- Community health services
We are working actively to integrate services so that patients and service users have quicker and easier access to a broad range of care.
Our work is led by a Trust Board, which is a group of Executive and Non Executive Directors.
About our Chair
Cathy Ellis was appointed the Chair of the Trust on 3 September 2015, following the retirement of Professor David Chiddick.
Cathy has been a Non-Executive Director with the Trust since 2013. She is a chartered accountant by background and the former chairman of NHS Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Primary Care Trust.
