Concerns and complaints:
Our staff aim to provide the highest standards of care and service. Occasionally things go wrong and you might feel unhappy or concerned about the care you or someone you care for has received. Always talk to a member of staff at the place the care or service was provided to try to resolve things quickly and informally. If this does not resolve your concerns you can contact a member of our customer services team and they can help you to decide what steps to take next. We might be able to help resolve your concerns informally or you might decide you want to make a complaint. We will support you through either process. You're assured of complete confidentiality and your future care and treatment will not be affected.
Independent advice
The Independent Complaints Advocacy Services (ICAS) provides free independent advice on how to make a complaint about the NHS. Telephone 0845 650 0088
The Health Service Ombudsman
If you are not happy with the way we have dealt with a complaint, you can ask for help from the Health Ombudsman. The Ombudsman carries out independent investigations into complaints about the NHS in England to help improve services. More information is available from:
