Our Charitable funds play an important and pivotal part in improving the experience, care and wellbeing of our patients, service users and our staff. With our key aim being to raise funds and spend them to make these areas even better.

Although the NHS is Government funded, there is always extra that can be supported through kind and generous donations. With this in mind, there are lots of ways that donors and benefactors can support the work of our Trust through charitable funds. We have 17 separate subsidiary charities working under the umbrella of our main Trust fund. Within these 17 smaller charities we have a number of separate local funds, any of which patients, service users and their families can support through legacies and/or donations.

Day-to-day administration of Trust charitable fund, the financial procedures and guidance which governs the running of this and the subsidiary charities, are the responsibility of our Assistant Finance Manager Lorraine Newstead on Tel 0116 295 7603.
