Involving You

We want you to have your say on the way in which your healthcare services are developed and delivered. The best way we can make sure we are getting it right is to work in partnership with the people who use our services, their carers and our community.

Events
On Thursday 24th January, LPT held a 'Working in Partnership' event at Voluntary Action Leicester headquarters.  The event provided an opportunity for sharing information with the voluntary community sector on: 
  1. Services provided by LPT now and in the future.
  2. How our services are commissioned including the impact of new local commissioning organisations, Any Qualified Provider and Payment by Results.
  3. How LPT can engage the voluntary sector more effectively in our business, including joint working / joint bids.

Attendees included members of our Engagement and Involvement Team, the Business Development Team and representatives from our clinical services.  The event was interactive with time for questions and the opportunity for the organisations to find out more about our services.  There was plenty of opportunity for networking.  The event was very well attended with a wide variety of organisations representing the voluntary community sector.
