What Does Our Service Do?

We provide a confidential, self referral sexual health service. The service includes:

Screening and treatment for sexually transmitted infections
Specialist HIV treatment and care
Sexual Health Promotion, information and advice.

How Does Our Service Work?

Our confidential service aims to see patients within 48 hours following telephone contact.

Your sexual health will be assessed and routine test samples will be taken during your first appointment. Test results will be available within 14 days to ensure the most effective treatment can be offered. We also offer a contact notification service to reduce the risk of further sexually transmitted infection.

HIV testing, counselling and on-going care will be personalised to offer the best possible support and care by our qualified specialist team.

The service is provided by Specialist (GUM) Consultants, health advisors and nursing staff to ensure optimum care for our service users. We see on average 130 patients per week within our four days per week clinic sessions.

Tuesday 08.30am to 12pm
Wednesday 16.00pm to 19.00 pm
Thursday 14.00pm to 17.00 pm
Friday 08.30am to 11.30am

How Can You Access Our Service?

To access our service you can:

Contact direct by telephone on a self-referral basis. We operate a telephone appointment service only (operated by trained booking staff). Bookings are taken Monday to Friday. Phone lines are closed 12.30 -13.00pm for lunch. The service is closed on weekends and Bank Holidays
