For patients
We have different kinds of patients - or service-users - as some people prefer to be known. Our inpatients are resident in our wards. Our outpatients visit our services for an appointment with a doctor or nurse but continue to live at home. Our community patients are people our healthcare professionals visit in their homes or a setting in the community.
About our services
In Our Services pages you can find out about the types of service we provide
Access to our services
We try to make our services as accessible as possible to everybody who uses them.
If you'd like information about getting into our buildings - ramps and lifts, for example - call Joan Hawkins on 0116 225 6594 or e-mail joanhawkins@leicspart.nhs.uk
Information about our translation service, hearing loops, sign language, interpreters, Braille and large print can be found in Interpreters, vision and hearing.
Disability Discrimination Act
We do our best to comply with the DDA in every aspect of our work. But, if you feel we've fallen short in our duty to make our services accessible to disabled users, do tell us, by using any of the methods described in our Contact page.
For other related information, go to the Equality pages.
In an emergency
If you, or someone you're concerned about, needs help in an emergency, go to Getting help urgently for advice on what to do.
