This study aims to investigate if filtration systems prevent respiratory infections in care home residents
The LPT R&D Team facilitates research in Care Homes, via ENRICH. We are currently supporting the AFRI-C study, a randomised controlled trial which will investigate the effectiveness of air filtration systems in preventing respiratory infections (such as coughs, colds and flu) and COVID-19 among care home residents in England. We are currently facilitating this study in Amberwood Care Home, where 12 residents have agreed to take part.
