Counter-fraud

Like every large organisation, we need to be watchful when it comes to money and resources. NHS organisations tend to be large, with many staff and contractors and a lot of stock, for all the services we provide. It is our size that can make us vulnerable to fraud.
 

We have a very active counter-fraud team which carries out a range of activities - from fraud investigations to training for new members of staff on how to spot fraud.  The team works closely with our Human Resources department and the Security Management Specialist. 

Anyone can report concerns about fraud in the NHS.  All allegations are thoroughly and professionally investigated.  You can call the national NHS Fraud and Corruption Reporting Line on freephone 0800 028 40 60 or contact our local counter fraud specialist on 0116 295 3167

Reports are dealt with in confidence by experienced and trained staff.
