COVID-19 R&D Newsletter (Special Edition)
The R&D Team have put together a very special edition of the newsletter, focusing on the research community’s efforts directed towards COVID-19. This includes links to a symptom tracking app, and lots more!
The second edition of our COVID-19 Special Edition Newsletter can be accessed by the link below. This focuses on some of the work being undertaken across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland and how one can get involved in some of this critical work.
In our latest edition of the Be Part of Research Newsletter (COVID-19 Special Edition) we will briefly explore published evidence and current research surrounding the impact of COVID-19 on BAME communities:
Corona Virus: Research Appointments Update
In response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, we are asking you not to attend any face to face research related appointments, unless you have been advised otherwise by your research team. Where appropriate our research teams will contact you to conduct research follow up by telephone.
Whilst we are continuing to deliver quality research where we can, and with participant and staff safety paramount, we have been asked to prioritise support for urgent Public Health COVID-19 research.
Student Research (HRA Review)
We have been advised that, due to the need to prioritise the review and set-up of COVID-19 research, all other forms of student or non-Covid research that is below doctorate level, will not be accepted for review at this time by the Health Research Authority.
