There are five places available for the IMROC Peer Support Worker training programme in March.

Autism Peer Support Workers roles provide support, companionship and encouragement to autistic people experiencing health difficulties by drawing upon their own autistic lived experiences, or from lived experience as family carer of an autistic person.

Following completion of this training there will be an opportunity for the successful individuals to apply for one of two new full time/part time Band 3 Peer Support Worker positions within the Specialist Autism Team.

Alternatively, there will be opportunities to volunteer.

You must be able to attend one of the following cohorts:

  • Cohort 4: Tuesday mornings and Thursday mornings from Tuesday 14th March
  • Cohort 5: Monday mornings from Monday 13th March
  • Cohort 6: Tuesday mornings from Tuesday 14th March
