Mental Health Central Access Point
The Mental Health Central Access Point in LPT provides a 24/7 mental health support number for people in Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland who are in a crisis.
Callers will be connected to a trained professional, who can provide local support, advice or signposting, whether this is from the NHS, the voluntary and community sector, or emotional support over the telephone.
Where needed, callers will either be transferred to a mental health practitioner, or they will receive a call back from a mental health practitioner, within 24 hours.
All of this is available anytime of the day or night, with no referral criteria, available for anyone of any age needing urgent mental health support for themselves or others. You can call this service on NHS 111 and select mental health option, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This telephone number is totally free and confidential.

If you are deaf and have urgent mental health needs, you can use the NHS 111 British Sign Language service
If there is an immediate threat to life, dial 999.
