Bird inspired walk for neurodivergent adults and friends - Beacon Hill 24/05/25; 12:00 noon
Join artist Lucy Stevens and a birding expert for a guided walk through Lower Beacon Hill following the accessible trail created by Safe Well Happy, an adult social group with learning disabilities. The group worked with Lucy and Charnwood Arts to develop painted trail markers through a series of nature and art inspired workshops. For age 14+. Max. 15 places.

This is a free event with a range of activities

This event requires adult supervision at all

To share celebration of achievements, the organisers are asking parents and carers to
send in information things their child or young person
are proud of. This can include photos, words
or representations

Out and about group meet up sessions - ongoing
This is a group for young adults with disabilities and / or who are neurodivergent (ie are autistic or who have ADHD, tics/Tourettes, dyslexia, dyspraxia, etc)
It aims to help them socialise with each other in safe community settings.
It is for people aged 25+ – with learning disabilities and / or who are neurodivergent.
Previous meet ups have been at Gallowtree Gate, Leicester LE1 1DA
