A spokesperson for Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust said: “It is with sadness that we confirm the death of a male patient who was being cared for at the Evington Centre and had tested positive for Covid-19.
“The man, who was in his nineties and had underlying conditions, died on Friday, 15 May.
“His family has been informed. We share our condolences with them and keep them in our thoughts at this difficult and distressing time.”
