Staff at Hinckley and Bosworth Community Hospital are holding two recruitment open days.
They are looking for additional staff to become part of the team on the two inpatient wards on the Ashby Road site.
Lisa Martin, one of the ward sisters at the hospital, said: “We are looking for dynamic individuals with caring and compassionate personalities to join us. This is a great way to give something back to the local community.
“We have a modern, bright and spacious building, using modern technology to deliver care.”
The hospital is looking for both full and part-time nursing applicants, and for one additional occupational therapist. East Ward has 20 beds and North Ward 16 beds, each offering care to a variety of mainly older patients including rehabilitation, sub-acute and end of life care.
Both wards regularly receive very positive feedback from the patients directly. In surveys during July and August, 98 per cent of 48 patients or relatives said they would be likely or extremely likely to recommend the wards to other patients.
The recruitment open days take place as follows:
Friday 11 October, 2019, 10am to 2pm; and
Saturday 9 November 2019, 10am to 2pm.
