Two male patients, one aged 78 and one aged 90, and one female patient, aged 83, who had all tested positive for Covid-19 have died at Hinckley and Bosworth Hospital. All three patients had underlying health conditions.

Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trusts runs community hospitals across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. Hinckley and Bosworth hospital is currently the Trust’s main base for treating Covid-positive patients.

A spokesperson for Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust said: “We have shared our deep condolences with their families and our thoughts remain with them at this distressing time.”
