Why it’s important to support your health and wellbeing

Taking positive steps for your health and wellbeing can help you to:

  • ease some symptoms
  • manage or improve your health
  • stop new problems from starting
  • improve your health before your care – this may help you to get better faster

Find support for your mental health

If you need urgent help

If your mental or emotional state quickly gets worse and you feel like you can’t cope with how you’re feeling, this can be called a ‘mental health crisis’. In this situation, it is important to get help quickly.

24/7 support is available over the phone, call NHS 111, mental health option. This number is open 24 hours a day and is totally free and confidential. Click here to find out more

You can also text 0748 063 5199 and we will aim to get back to you within four hours.

You should still call 999 or go to A&E if you have an immediate, life-threatening emergency requiring mental or physical health assistance.
