Around 2000 enthusiastic people attended the LLR Health and Care Jobs and Careers event on Saturday 9 March – co-ordinated by Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust.
The event had to start early as over 230 people were queueing patiently to visit stands from our Trust, as well as University Hospitals of Leicester, Rainbows and LOROS Hospices, DeMontfort University, Leicester College, Army Medical Reserves, Inspired to Care and St John’s Ambulance.
Staff from teams and services were inundated with enquiries about current vacancies and also career prospects for both patient-caring and support roles. Also on hand were staff with details on our health and wellbeing and equality, diversity and inclusion offers, our charity Raising Health and volunteering opportunities.
Our recruitment team provided hundreds of people with advice on how best to complete job applications.
