New neighbourhood mental health centres coming to Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR)
New neighbourhood mental health centres are being introduced across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR), funded by NHS England.
These centres will be open throughout the day and into the evening and will offer a simpler, more joined-up way to get support close to home. They are mainly for people with serious mental illness and include a walk-in service.
The aim is to provide help in local, familiar community spaces. As well as mental health support, people will be able to access help with things like:
- housing
- debt
- medication
- staying active
- connecting with others
