There are two adult inpatient wards at St Luke’s Hospital. Ward 1 is a stroke unit offering specialist stroke rehabilitation and Ward 3 provides sub-acute care, complex rehabilitation and end of life care.

Visiting hours

Visiting arrangements for all community hospital wards has been revised due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Visiting hours are from 2pm to 8pm each day. No more than two visitors per patient will be permitted in a bay area at any one time.

Masks will be asked to be worn, however as of 31/08/2022, it is no longer a legal requirement

In situations where a ward is deemed to be in a Covid outbreak, visiting may not be permitted unless under exceptional circumstances with prior agreement from the ward sister/matron.
