What Matters to You?
A community-centered approach to healthcare.
Come along and take a proactive step towards better health and wellbeing.
What to expect?
We are trying new ways of working, and if you are referred to our service we may offer you a different type of experience. By working with other local agencies we offer you a face to face appointment with a member of our team and, additionally, access to a variety of other professionals under one roof.
We know that when we have problems with our joints, spine, muscles, ligaments, movement and balance etc, the situation can be influenced by a multitude of factors, including our level of activity, our general health and our physical and mental wellbeing.
The aim of the day is to allow you to meet with physiotherapists and other specialist community services, giving you an opportunity to discuss ‘What matters to you’. You will be able to ask questions, receive appropriate advice, and an assessment if required.
Please note, although the event is free to attend, access to a physiotherapist assessment is only available via a referral and invitation from the MSK Physiotherapy Service.
Visit our MSK Physiotherapy Service page for additional information about our service
What to bring?
If you have been booked into our next event, you should have received a letter and SMS confirming your time slot for physiotherapist interview/assessment.
Please bring your confirmation letter with you alongside:
- Reading glasses (if required)
- Loose fitting / comfortable clothing
- List of any prescribed medication

I can no longer attend – what should I do?
If you have a time-slot with a physiotherapist booked, please contact us on 0300 300 0046 if you can no longer attend.
We will try and book a different time slot on the day if spaces are still available. If the day is no longer convenient for you, we can arrange for the next available physiotherapy assessment (please note your first contact will be by phone).
If you no longer wish to undergo physiotherapy at this time, please still let us know as we can offer your appointment to someone else.
I wasn’t offered this option when I booked my physiotherapy appointment?
We are only offering appointments for our Community Assessment Day to a limited group of patient cohorts. If you weren’t offered this appointment, it was either not suitable for you or we no longer had spaces available.
I’m not booked into the event, can I still come along?
Yes of course, you are more than welcome to visit all the stands available on the day providing a range of valuable information and resources supporting your health and wellbeing.
However if you are not booked onto the day we can’t offer you an assessment with one of our physiotherapists, but we will have a physiotherapy stand available explaining about our service and providing some basic advice / information to take away with you.
