Service description
This service offers diagnostic audiology assessments for children from 7 months to 16 years of age and for children attending special schools up to 19 years of age.
Appointments
The service is working hard to see children as soon as possible, however please be aware we continue to have increased waiting times. This might mean your child has to wait longer than we would like for a hearing test.
If you have significant concerns about your child’s hearing, please contact your GP directly or this service on 0116 295 3919.
Locations
The service is carrying out improvements at some of our venues to make sure all the places we carry out hearing tests are of a high quality.
This means you may have to travel further for your child’s appointment.
Voluntary transport can be requested to help you get to a suitable venue for you if required.
Please read our Frequently Asked Questions for more information.
The service is delivered at five sites across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
