Nutrition and Dietetics
Our Nutrition and Dietetic service provides advice for adults and children regarding their nutrition, and also provides training and education for other health professionals to enable them to promote good nutrition.
The Nutrition and Dietetic Service provides community dietetic services across LLR, and comprises 3 teams, as follows:
The Home Enteral Nutrition Service team, providing monitoring and support for adults and children who require enteral tube feeding at home or in residential care settings.
The Primary care and mental health team, providing outpatient and domiciliary serivces, and input to community hospitals.
The public health team, which focuses on provision of weight management and prevention services that contribute to the reduction of obesity and related comorbidities, including diabetes and coronary heart disease.
If you need to see a dietitian, your GP can arrange a referral to our services.
