Collaborative service run by Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust and University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust.
Referral criteria
Those in the following categories occupying an acute bed:
- patients of all ages with probable dementia where their mental health problems is associated with risks that will complicate their treatment in hospital and/or their discharge planning
- patients aged over 65 years who would benefit from a mental health assessment.

Please let the person who is referring you to this service know at the time of referral.
