Our annual Celebrating Excellence Awards recognise our exceptional individuals and teams for their dedication and commitment to our vision: ‘together we thrive; building compassionate care
and wellbeing for all’, and our values of compassion, respect, integrity and trust.
The awards, which is a fully sponsored event, are a superb opportunity to celebrate the significant contribution of Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT) staff and volunteers, and to share their achievements for the wider benefit of patients, service users and staff.
Nominations for the Celebrating Excellence Awards 2026
We’re excited to open nominations for this year’s Celebrating Excellence Awards, where we shine a spotlight on the outstanding people who help make high‑quality care possible every day.
To make the process simple and accessible for everyone, we have two nomination forms, depending on who you are:
Public nomination form
This form is for:
- Service users
- Families and carers
- Members of the public
Use this form if you would like to nominate an individual, team, or service that has made a positive difference to you or someone you care about.
Staff nomination form
This form is for:
- All LPT staff (including Bank)
- Volunteers working within LPT
- Colleagues from system partner organisations who work with or alongside LPT services
Use the staff form to nominate a colleague, team, or partner who embodies our Trust values and consistently goes above and beyond.
Please submit your nominations by the closing date of Monday 11 May at 5pm.
All nominees will receive a thank you letter from our chief executive. All shortlisted nominees and their nominators will be invited to the awards ceremony early-October (date and venue to be confirmed).

Want to sponsor the awards?
Sponsoring the awards is a unique opportunity to be part of a two-month publicity campaign aimed at more than 7,000 staff, our 3,000 members, hundreds of volunteers and our hundreds of thousands of service users and patients.
