How to access this service

You may be receiving support from a professional we have provided advice to. If it is felt that you require additional support, you can be referred to the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service by: your GP; school nurse; social worker; educational psychologist; community paediatrician and other Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust staff.

Your referral will be considered by both specialist CAMHS and the Primary Mental Health Team. We will then contact you to discuss the service, obtain further information and what care you need. It may be that we suggest you get support from other organisations if we feel that CAMHS is not the best service to provide what you need.

What conditions do you cover

We treat young people having difficulties with their mental health/emotional wellbeing. These are young people who may be at risk of developing a mental health disorder.
